The odds are that you have and are well aware of the benefits of these life-enhancing relationships. These relationships are what Gabriel's Angels is all about. Our objective is to help abused and at-risk children feel better about their lives through healthy interactions with pets.
Gabriel's Angels' Pet Therapy Teams offer unconditional love, teach respect, empathy and trust to children who have been victims of abuse or are at risk of abuse. The power of these dogs is amazing! They can do what we humans can't, as we represent the very figures that always disappointed them. Instead, dogs have an uncanny way of simply being and helping these children cope with the turmoil in their lives. Our weekly visits provide comfort and security to these children.
Anyone with a loving heart and the willingness to share their dog has the potential to change these young lives. The time commitment is minimal since our teams work one hour a week or one hour every other week. If you don't have a dog you can still help by joining our
